Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about our products, your pets and your order.
Both products are made for dogs and cats. Patch test first, and remember most cats rarely need a bath. The Paw & Nose Balm contains essential oils, so for cats apply only a thin layer and stop them licking it off until it absorbs, and check with your vet first if your cat is a kitten, elderly or has a health condition.
A small lick after applying is normal and is why we use natural oils, butters and waxes. It is still a grooming product, not food. Distract your pet for a few minutes after applying so it can soak in. If your pet eats a larger amount, or you see drooling, vomiting or unusual behaviour, contact your vet.
Yes: the oils, butters, waxes and cleansers are natural ingredients, mostly plant-derived (coconut, neem, aloe, shea, cocoa and avocado), with beeswax in the Paw & Nose Balm. The Shampoo also contains small amounts of two preservatives, Geogard and phenoxyethanol, which keep any water based product safe from bacteria and mould once opened. We list every ingredient on every product page.
Our formulas draw on Ayurveda, the traditional Indian system of wellbeing, using plants like neem and aloe that have been part of daily care for generations. We make in small batches, list every ingredient, and we're a small team in Brampton who answer every email ourselves.
Our products are made in small batches by our manufacturing partner in Gujarat, India, and shipped to us in the Greater Toronto Area, where every order is packed and sent.
Every 1 to 2 weeks, or as needed, for example after a muddy walk. Most cats need a bath far less often, so for cats bathe only when needed.
Warm a small amount between your fingertips and smooth it onto clean, dry paw pads and the nose. It works best after walks, salt and snow, or before bed.
Stop using it, rinse the area with water, and call your vet if the reaction doesn't settle. Then email us with the product and the lot code printed on the pack so we can look into the batch.
